How much does copyediting cost?
Bublish’s copy editors adhere to The Chicago Manual of Style and Merriam-Webster Dictionary. The goal of a copyedit is to eliminate redundancy, spelling, and grammar errors as well as punctuation and syntax problems. Editorial comments are less frequent at this level of editing. Edits are returned to the author in a Microsoft Word document with track changes. This edit does not include citation editing as that is a different service. The author maintains all rights to the edited manuscript.
Timeline: two to three weeks
Cost: $0.035/word
